Smt. Tripti Kalra, a great classical dancer, was born in a North Indian Sikh Family. She has had a knack for dancing since birth and has always worshiped Indian classical dance owing to her innate love. She is a disciple of Bharatnatyam exponent and Guru Smt. Kanaka Sudhakar. She has done her Visharad from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya Mandal, Miraj (Mumbai).

Regarding her educational background, she completed her Master’s from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, and currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. Now, she is working as an Asstt. Professor of Performing Arts at Delhi Teacher’s Training College, affiliated with G.G.S. Indraprastha University, Delhi.

As part of her professional experience, Smt. Tripti Kalra performed extensively all over India. Her forte is her fluid expression, crisp footwork, and intense involvement. She has choreographed and presented many innovative items in Bharatnatyam and won a lot of appreciation. She is also training over 100 students in her academy. She has successfully earned affiliation with Guru Samman Vibhuti at Singapore Festival held in May 2019.
